Grants, Donations and Funding
Lilly is committed to improving patient care and health care delivery by funding unbiased and innovative educational meetings and initiatives that are independently created, designed and implemented by external organizations.
Meetings: Independently organized educational meetings or learning events for health care providers, patients and other groups. Review our funding application guide, and speak to your Lilly contact to learn more.
Materials: Enduring materials that support improvements in patient care or health care delivery (e.g., newsletters, patient educational materials, website content). Speak to your Lilly contact to learn more or review our funding application guide.
Lilly believes that through collaboration with external partners we can advance the science and knowledge required to develop new medicines. We support independent research projects in areas of mutual therapeutic interest and need.
Real World Evidence: Real world evidence (RWE) projects are scientific research projects in which real world data sources (e.g., existing patient registries and databases) are analyzed to provide insights on diseases, medicines, patient populations and health care practices. Reach out to your existing contact on Lilly’s Medical team to learn more.
Independent Research Grants: Research organizations may request research grants to further their Independent Research projects. It is not the intent that this grant would cover the entire cost of the research project. Reach out to your existing contact on Lilly’s Medical team to learn more.
Fellowships: Medical associations and organizations that focus on advancing medical research and patient care may request funding for Fellowships through Lilly Canada’s Research Fellowship Program. Learn more about Fellowships and the online application process.
Investigator Initiated Trials: Lilly has a program for considering external requests for Lilly to provide study drug and/or financial support for Investigator Initiated Research that is initiated, designed and sponsored by external researchers. Health care and research professionals may learn more and submit a concept online. Please note that this information is available in English only.
